Hi all,

i have a itx build and im installing my first GPU into it.

Case : NZXT ITX MANTA MINI black
Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-Z87N-WiFi

GPU : MSI GEFORCE RTX 3050.
PSU : CORSAIR RM750

When i install the GPU and attempt to boot up i get no response not even a light on the water cooler i have installed, when i unplug the GPU its able to boot up so ive checked and checked and checked for a loose connection im convinced there is none. am i missing anything?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

PSU : CORSAIR RM750
How old is the PSU in your build?

GPU : MSI GEFORCE RTX 3050
Can you pass on a link to the GPU you're working with?
hi thanks for the response,
this is the GPU i am working with.

the PSU has been in place since 2014 so fairly old i would say

Just to clarify, nothing on the graphics card powers up either? Also, did you buy the graphics card new or used(if used, was there any proof of it properly working before)?

Got it, then you probably dont have another card you could use to test and see if it works? Have you checked the pcie slot and pcie power cables for any debris that could cause potential shorts?
yeah cleaned it up and double checked and triple checked nothing else in the way, no loose connections either but works well if i unplug the GPU and use onboard graphics. strange one if im honest.
