Question Installing GPU gives a no signal on TV

I know, prebuilt pc... But I was too lazy to build my own and the difference would've been little anyways.I had a samsung evo 860 ssd, and a 1050ti gpu from my old computer that I wanted to move over. The computer works great before installing the gpu. Once installed, there is no video on either onboard or the gpu and I can't get to BIOS. The GPU's fans turn on but still no signal. I'm thinking maybe it's the 300w psu but the 1050ti's minimum is 300w so that isn't the problem. Any tips?

If it's a crap 300w PSU, as they often are on prebuilt PCs, it may not be enough. Does your 1050ti require a 6 pin?

It doesn’t. However the fans spin on the gpu so would that be the gpu then since the psu is providing power?

Solved: Apparently, the new pc needed to install an nvidia driver in windows update. After that, it worked!
