Installing ram

Hello, i have a pegatron benicia motherboard and am upgrading ram. is there an order pertaining to which slots are filled by number

Turn off the PC and install all the RAM.

Usually 1-2-3 if numbered and starting closest to the cpu if not. If color coded fill like colors (ie. all blue or all black).

First closest to the CPU and than the same color. So it could be like 1-3 and 2-4.
