I have two (2) PCs with completely different hardware (motherboard, CPU, graphics card, etc).

Let's just call them PC1 and PC2

What I would like to do is install two versions of Windows 10 on the same SSD, one for each PC.

For example, the first partition on the drive would be for PC1 (install windows, drivers, etc.) and then the second partition on the drive would be for PC2 (install windows, drivers, etc.).

I just need to have this configuration for about month and then I plan to delete the Windows 10 install for PC2 and just keep the install for PC1.

I was just wondering if this is possible or will this cause some issue because each PC had different hardware.

Thanks in advance for any advice/tips.

Dan

Possible - yes.
Make sure to disable fast boot and disable secure boot on both computers.
For example, the first partition on the drive would be for PC1 (install windows, drivers, etc.) and
then the second partition on the drive would be for PC2 (install windows, drivers, etc.).
1st partition would be bootloader.
2nd partition windows #1
3rd partition windows #2

Lafong,

I only have a license for PC1.

But why would having a license (or not having one) matter?

If I'm not mistaken, I you can install Windows 10 and run it without having to activate for 30 days which would work for me.

SkyNetRising,

Thanks for the info.

The "30 Days" thing is not a thing.

Windows activation starts from Day 1.
Older version....8/7/Vista...had the 30 day thing.
Win 10 does not.

You can install it without activation, but "30 days" is not a thing.
