Installing windows 7 - USB not detecting

Hi, I just built a new computer, and when I went to install windows 7 on it, it starts the install process and then it says "A necessary driver for CD-/DVD-device is missing. If you have the driver on a cd, dvd or USB-flash please insert it now" The motherboard is a MSI Z170A M3

go to msi website, read the faq on that motherboard to see how to install windows 7

1.boot from usb
2.click install
3.select the unpartitioned space and create a new partition and other partitions ofr your need.
4.install os in the c:
thats it

It doesnt get that far...it doesnt show anything except the error message I wrote above. it says "choose the driver that you want to install" and it's nothing there.
