Recently I bought 3 SSDs to upgrade my hard drive performance. The RAID steep went fairly well, I was able to get my BIOS to recognize the 3 as 1.

Things started to get buggy when I tried to install Windows onto the setup I had going. I was hoping to just get a clean install, so I prepped an Installation USB ahead of time, plugged it in to install windows and it asked me which drive I wanted to use, showing all 3 SSDs as an option. I've been struggling, trying to figure this out for the past 3 hours, but I haven't been able to find any answers.

Can anyone explain what's going on?

When I looked up that motherboard -- https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/M5A97_LE_R20/HelpDesk_Download/ downloads there is a SATA download. It says:
Version 1.2.1.329&3.8.1540.3 2013/12/172.73 MBytes

AMD AHCI Driver V3.3.1540.26 for Windows XP 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
AMD AHCI Driver V1.2.1.329 for Windows Vista 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
AMD RAID Driver V3.3.1540.26 for Windows XP 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
AMD RAID Driver V3.3.1540.29 for Windows Vista 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
AMD RAID Driver V3.3.1540.35 for Windows 7 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)
AMD RAID Driver V3.8.1540.3 for Windows 8 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)

I would believe you will have to slipstream or use the keyboard interrupt to add the RAID driver during install. Slipstreaming is probably the...

What motherboard? Which version of Windows?

Beyond, that -- I wouldn't recommend your implementation. It is unlikely that your disks will fail. RAID isn't protecting from anything else. You are more likely to lose everything with a failed rebuild or some other problem.

Motherboard Asus M5A97 LE R2.0
Windows 8.1

I did a little more digging and found that I'm supposed to install the RAID drivers, but I have no clue where to find them. I've looked all over the ASUS driver downloads, but none of them mention RAID.
