I'm building a computer that doesn't have space for a internal optical drive so I'm gonna use an external optical drive to install windows, is there anything I should know before I go buy one?

Solution
Most pc's will not want to boot to an external drive first which is what you need your pc to do in order to install your os from your USB external Optical Drive. When your pc is booting up you will see something that will tell you to hit a specific key to select boot device sometimes referred to as BBS. You can also go into your bios when your pc starts up which is usually done by hitting del or F2 and look for an option talking about boot priority which will allow you to setup what device boots first...in this case you would choose USB cdrom.
