I am reinstalling XP onto a machine after I put in the product key code on
installing networks with 32 minutes to go the installation stops. It does not
crash out, the screen seems to been running as normal but does not go any
further. To get round this problem I have
Deleted Partition reformatted, taken out all PCI cards to avoid any
conflicts and tryed both Pro and Home editions.

I do not know what to do next, anybody got any ideas.
Thanks in advance

Matt

If you have an integrated NIC on the motherboard, try disabling it in the
BIOS before the reinstall.

If it then installs fine, try reenabling it afterwards.

Thanks for that Cari.

Even though there was no RJ45 port and no visible signs of a intergrated
NIC. LAN was enabled in the Bios. Disabling it work a treat.
