so I made a new system but I don't have a video card yet, I have tried a few ways to use my integrated graphics but I don't really know how. the only way I have a video output is by using a old hd5450 from a friend. when I connect my cable to my mobo I don't get a signal but it shows its there in task manager when i reconnect it to the gpu (for some reason my main gpu doesn't show in task manager) but its not going above 0% usage and I can barely run a game. (mobo, MSI 690 ACE, i7 13700K)

Unless you purchased an F skew (which you don't indicate) the CPU has integrated graphics that will work directly off the motherboard.

If you have a graphics card installed the motherboard will typically default to that and try to use it. The one you have installed is a dinosaur. Worth taking that out and going with the integrated graphics. (you won't be able to game on them either)

thanks, but I need like a certain setting or switch that I am missing that will hopefully turn the igpu on (like in the bios or something) and display an output. I forgot to add that that main issue is that it is not putting a display out onto my monitor.
