I only have 2 machines I really want to run at 10G and one that I want to run at 5G. Either 5G or 2.5G are fine for the other two.
And, since I still have a couple SFP+ 10G cards, it's not a problem for me that one of the 10G ports is SFP+.
BTW, here are a couple 2.5G cards for $30. I'll probably pick one up, for one of the above PCs.
