Hi,

My current build is:
Intel i5 13400F
Gigabyte M760H-DS3H Mobo
Corssair Vigilance 5200Mhz DDR5 16GB RAM
Cooler Master 650Watts Bronze SMPS
GPU Nvidia Gigabyte 1050ti

I wanted to upgrade my GPU and my budget is between 20k to 25K! I did some research and based on benchmark I shortlisted

1. Intel Arc 770
2. Intel Arc 750
3. Nvidia 2060 Super

I used 2060 super from Gigabyte and somehow it got burned, so I'm a little skeptical about it. On the other hand, Intel Arc series is a new name and I don't know anything about their performance! Can you please help me decide whether I should go with 2060 super or Intel Arc 770?

This site is based in the USA and we see traffic from most corners of the world. Where are you located so we can understand the currency you/we're having to deal with.

Please steer clear of used GPU's.

As for this;
Cooler Master 650Watts Bronze SMPS
Coolermaster is the brand of the unit, while 650W is the advertised wattage of the unit Likewise, Bronze is the advertised 80+ efficiency rating. What is the model of the unit and how old is the PSU?

Make and model of your case? What will your GPU purchase be used for? Include a list of games or apps you will tax the discrete GPU with.

My bad!

I'm from India and our currency i INR. We buy computer parts online (Amazon.in) as well as offline (shops).
I'm not interested in used GPUs, I'm only interested in buying new GPUs.

Here's my SMPS details:

Cooler Master MWE 650 Bronze V2 Power Supply - Non-Modular | 80 Plus Bronze Certified | 120mm HDB Fan | DC-to-DC Circuit Design | 2 EPS Connector | ATX 2.52 Version | 650 Watt

I bought this SMPS in June 2023, so its just 3 months old.

I've Cooler Master Storm Stryker - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case with Carrying Handle and External 2.5-Inch Drive Dock, (White color).

Please help.

You have to be very careful buying older versions of hardware. Things like 2060 and even the newer 30 series cards have not really been manufactured for a while now. The factories have all moved to newer technology. You have to worry that the card you get is some kind of used/refurbished card or is a card that has been sitting in some warehouse for years.

This table tends to give you a idea which gpu are similar in performance.

There is no easy way to compare the costs espeically on older models where some sell for huge money because they are being sold because they are rare more than performance.

Intel is the new player to the gpu market. They have had issues with their drivers but that is improving. Hopefully intel keeps making gpu just so amd and nvidia have to compete in the lower cost cards.

If you look at the link you might also consider a rx6600 but it depends on the price. These cards are not current generation cards but they are not as old as the 2060 so there are many more actual new cards being sold.

ARC 770 16gb brand new would be a great option ..

Nvidia has great editing software ( or so ive read ) but anything 8gb in 2023 is a bit useless so if a new 3070 12gb is off the table at the very least ..

ive read the ARC have good tools too and the 16gb ARC770 is a solid little performer !!

Im always reluctant to recommend 2nd hand PC parts its a risk and the last thing you want is a lemon or a head ache trying to recover your money or sort out issues atleast with a new product you have a warranty !!

A770 is available in both 8GB and 16GB variants. A770 16GB is the cheapest way to get a 16GB card, but that only becomes useful if you can actually reach that much memory usage.

There is no 3070 12GB, both the 3070 and 3070ti are 8GB cards, and that is a much higher price tier. RTX 3060 12GB is a thing and is a decent choice for general purpose GPU and gaming. But again, priced a little high.

GPU companies aren't making the software. Some professional applications now support Intel discrete GPUs, that would be a case by case basis. Nvidia or AMD have better overall support from software companies for the moment.

For simplicity, RX6600, RX6650 XT (maybe the RX6700 or 6700XT depending on pricing), RTX 4060 are all decent choices. If you want to be adventurous, A770 or A750. A580 also just launched, but generally not worth it over the A750.

Google to see if the ARC card is buggy in the games you play.
My cousin was going to get one like 3 months back and a quick google said it had major bugs in Diable 4 so he changed his mind real quick. LoL
Nobody wants to wait for bug fixes.
