No, it doesn’t. Of course, it’s history now, but I'm amazed with Intel’s motherboards again. I’ve just checked their site including spec update (2000). No 100 MHz mentioned.
Couple days ago I answered on similar question related to possibility to speeding up another Intel’s motherboard. And my concern was about Intel’s motherboards in general: they have never being good performers. That’s why it’s difficult to expect much improvement from their upgrade or predict that the upgrade will be possible at all.
By the way, the Intel 82440ZX chipset followed the famous i440BX as a simplified version.
Let’s compare with other manufacturers, for example, what they achieved on the same generation chipset:
