Intel cooler pins compatibility 775 1155 ?

Question about the pins you fix a cooler to motherboard with.
Need pins for my socket 1155 intel stock cooler. Can I buy pins for a 775 and use those ?

Those pins are on the headers on the board. What do you mean by buying pins? You mean fans with 3-pin or 4-pin connectors?

What is the motherboard you want to install a stock cooler on?
