For a laptop, i'd pick Intel CPU.

Intel CPU base clocks are lower than AMD CPU, meaning that on idle, Intel CPU consumes less power, thus extending the battery charge.
Also, Intel CPU iGPU is a bit better than in AMD CPU. Laptops use iGPU a lot and it being better helps.
Moreover, Intel CPU has better single-core performance, where most tasks that are done on laptop, are single-core (web browsing, office work).
For boost clocks, Intel CPU boosts a bit higher than AMD CPU, making heavy workloads a tiny bit better.

It's not all bad for AMD CPU, since it has more threads than Intel CPU. Meaning when you do a lot of tasks at once (multiple programs running at once), it has a bit better performance.
