hey jerreece,
i am sending you the link of a dell laptop. it has a nvidia graphic card. kindly suggest. i am looking out for a gaming laptop. http://configure.ap.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?oc=s541025in8&c=in&l=en&s=dhs&cs=indhs1
That laptop is configured with the ATI 4530 video card built in. They don't give any other options.
If you follow this link, and scroll down the page, you'll see a few "Benchmarks" with different games which are purportedly performed with this mobile graphics card.
http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-ATI-Mobility-Radeon-HD-4530.13972.0.html
For instance, they claim you can run Crysis on LOW settings @ 44.3FPS.
Or Call of Duty 4 on LOW @ 73.3FPS, or MEDIUM @ 30.6FPS.
They're rating it very close to the nVidia 8600M graphics chip.
With laptops you have to realize that even a good gaming laptop, will never perform as well as a good desktop system. You just can't pack the same kind of power into a laptop that you can into a desktop. So you won't be playing games at max settings, let alone high resolutions.
As far as mobile graphics cards go, the 4530 is a fairly basic GPU. It's sort of the 'entry level' gaming option if you will. Mobile graphics cards tend to be fairly expensive, so getting a 'high performance' gaming laptop can get fairly expensive.
