Don't make the same mistake that I made ...

The Intel D915GMH is a new intel mobo for the BTX chassis. Beware of this motherboard!!! They have a manufacturing defect that they are not admitting and have not released a fix. They have known about this problem since May 24th. There are several transistors with leads that ground out on the new mounting posts for the BTX CPU cooler assembly.

And you say that you couldn't RMA that mobo?

If everything seems to be going well, you obviously don't know what the hell is going on

I was able to RMA the motherboard. The replacement was supposed to be sent with instructions to perform field modification to cut the leads back. No instructions or information is available despite several phone calls to Intel Tech Support.

I am trying to get the word out so that others do not get stuck with a board guaranteed to fry at first power up.

That's very good, you should do a review of that board in newegg or wherever you bought it so the people that reads the reviews before buying are aware of that problem.
