intel dg41kr memory problem

even though the board supports memory up to 1066 MHZ, i recently installed a 2gb ram 1066 MHZ, but system not boots and gives 3 beeps,kindly help

What memory module? Is it a low density module?

If it really is low density, then the module is defective. I was unable to find the Dolgix memory specs and you didn't provide the part number, but I presume you bought DLD2GD3-10. You know it's low density because you checked the IC's specs?

After replacing with newer one,still problem persists, I think trouble with board, is there any settings to be changed?

Settings can't be changed in a way to make the module work. Can you provide a picture of both sides of the module?

The chips show 2656x8; therefore they are low density. Is this the only low density 2 GB module that you can buy? For an unknown reason it seems to be incompatible with your motherboard.

I unselected the the solution because the issue isn't yet resolved.

Faster RAM should work, but where can you buy?

tried faster ram (1333) with no luck!!!

Best would be to go to a shop that has used modules manufactured in 2011 or before and try them. I presume you test with only the new module?

A used Kingston KVR1066D3N7/2G module will also work.
