Question Intel Haswell Graphics Driver on Windows XP x86 crashes

Hello,

I recently got a mid 2010s workstation and installed windows XP x86.
The issue I'm facing is installing the Intel HD Graphics driver.

I got an i7-4790 and tried different graphics drivers, whenever I want to install them, the system crashes.
If I install the driver in safemode and boot normal, it crashes during booting.

I tried the latest driver version 14.56.0.5449 which is the last official XP one as well as 5441, no luck.

Anyone else had this problem on the Haswell gen CPU?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Might want to mention the make and model of your motherboard. You should be on Windows 7 if anything, not Windows Xp.

Thanks for the reply, I have to run some legacy software which requires XP.

Anyway the workstation is a HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF

There are only 3 OSes listed in the drop down menu, and Xp isn't there.

Yes but thats nothing new. All driver/manufacture vendors removed their drivers/update for XP systems from their websites, can't really blame them. But looking on google and wayback machine, XP was originally supported.
