Intel i3-5 or AMD Quad Core?

I'm looking for a new computer after my old one is on it's way out and i need to keep a very affordable budget. I had a Dell Inspiron 1720 which i loved but also had a lot of issues with. I've been looking and i found an Intel Core i3 6GB RAM 1TB HD or a AMD Quad Core, 4GB RAM, 500GB HD. I play WoW, Minecraft and all that good stuff.... I just need to know which is my best bet or what would be better. Any help would be appreciated!

That's not a very detailed discription of the 2 systems, or the AMD processor. But the i3 would probably be your best choice, assuming the system comes with an adequate graphics card and not just on-board graphics.

I agree with clutch on the I3. What are you using this computer for though?

Im guessing most AMD quad cores being advertized would be llano machines. They ussually have more graphics power than intel machines at the same price. You'd need that if you want to play WoW very well.

You'd have to look at the graphics for us to give you a definite answer.
