Hello. I want to know is intel i5 3470 good for gaming. And will gtx 960 be a good choice for that processor. I dont know can that i5 3470 handle gtx 960
It can handle it no problem, that CPU would be fine with SLI 980s for example. Also with DX12 coming out the CPU will not as matter much in DX12 titles.
i5 3470 can handle any game right now. Even my 5 year old i5 750 @ 3.6Ghz not bottlenecking my 7950 Vapor X OCed on a single game even now. The GTX960 is a mid range GPU which can do good gaming performance for some time.
Probably not, it's a better CPU then i7-930 (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,3106-5.html), and this one doesn't bottleneck a GTX 970.
