Hi, just wanted to ask a quick question regarding the position of the lever on Intel mainstream sockets (LGA115x/1200) when the CPU is installed. I didn't find anything when searching about this.

I'm wondering about the horizontal position of the lever, how far from/towards the socket it should be? Here's what i mean, i've taken this image from my setup, look at the red arrows:

As far as i can tell from installation videos etc, it usually falls somewhere in the middle, but i've positioned it a bit more left, toward the socket.
Is there any danger if the lever is positioned like that, maybe it'll stress the socket mechanism more or put more pressure on the CPU? The system is working just fine BTW, asking out of curiosity.

Thanks.

Solution
Doesn't make any difference. It has a little wiggle room to clear any possibility of the cpu cooler mount infringing on it and to give a larger possible contact area for fingers. Mechanically, to the left or right or centered is all the same.
