[citation][nom]fulle[/nom]Oh, I can follow Intel naming conventions just fine. Nvidia mobile parts on the other hand...8700M GT DDR3, 8700M DDR5, 9600M GT, 9600M GS, 9600M 9800M GTX, GTS,130M, 260M, GTS 350M, I'm not sure if I'm making stuff up at this point, or if it's really this bad. I have a head ache just thinking about it. What the hell is a 130M again? *sobs*[/citation]
Well, for what it's worth, I don't know anything about NVIDIA except I will not buy anything with one of their parts in it. That's worked well enough for me. But, anyway, I'll take your word for it.
But, if you think Intel makes sense, I need some of what you're taking.
So, you think the i7 970 should be less powerful than the i7 975, where, in all other cases, the higher number denotes something more powerful? How about the lower power processors? Does it make sense to you that the 870s runs at lower clock speeds than the real 870? How does that make a type of 870, if it's not at the same clock speed? Yes, I know Marcus as it at the same clock speed, but, probably because he couldn't imagine it would be different. But, he's wrong. So is Intel for creating all this confusion.
