Go to Device Manager and uninstall/delete Intel (R) HD Graphics 5500
Go to the site below and download
It should give you the option of downloading zip file win64_15.40.5171
Disconnect from the internet and make sure to uninstall/delete Intel (R) HD Graphics 5500 until Microsoft basic display adapter is in its place
Extract zip file, go to igxpin.exe double click on it and follow installation procedure
The only version that worked on my computer for Intel (R) HD Graphics 5500 was driver version: 20.19.15.5171 / date 11/4/2020
