The way I see it...

Q4 isn't going quite as well as it should be. Intel just got downgraded by BoA and that doesn't happen on a whim.

What I think is going on is, 6 months ago when intel posted a 'much better than anticipated' result...well you can flog inventory on the cheap when times are bad - but when times are less bad you've got less people looking to upgrade, right?

AMD will also be affected as they did the same thing back then. TSMC are doing their best to destroy ATI's massive gpu lead it seems.

On the plus side, AMD have made big inroads outside of desktops. Dell's Zino will sell, it's so damn cute I want one myself for that reason alone. If not for the intel cash I'd be expecting a pretty flat looking Q4, no better or worse than anyone else.

Well the main benefit i see about AMD Vision and AMD being able to sell to vendors now is that it will get the AMD name recognized. No more people asking me if they should get a 2.2 Ghz C2D instead of a P II x 4 b/c its intel...

TBH though a lot of problems with the area the Israelies are in is the Birtish promised it to both sides. Then they pulled out after the attacks began. As for the Bible, Elmo its great that you have your own opinion on it but the thing is that its someones faith. You can think your own and I usually agree with you but on this, don't go trying to prove someones faith wrong.

Also, the Bible is two parts. The Old Testament is based the origins of man and how they came to be along with the old rules from God. The second testament is about Jesus, the end and the second coming. It may have been written after the events but it still has a lot of info thats pretty good.

And I for one think we did at one time live with the dinosaurs. I think that what happened was the flood killed them all out. There would be no way for a man to create a boat that could carry a great number of them since they are so large (Brachiousaurus ect).

Whats funny is, when the Bible was written, the conventional thought was that the earth was flat.
Todays scientist insist we come from apes, and are asounded by the Alps man, and confounded by the making of the pyramids.
I think it was wise of jennyh to point out the word wisdom, which isnt the same as knowledge.
Assuming man was nothing but a crude fur wearer with no sewing/weapons such as bows etc was somewhat unwise for todays scientists, as it was back in the day when we all assumed the earth was flat.

The Bible? You mean a book written ~300 A.D.? About events which occurred around the year 0? The Bible is not at all historically or scientifically accurate.

Unless someone can prove to me that the earth is a 6,000 year old flat circle that is also the center of the Universe and that the Sun revolves around the Earth (and not the other way around) I will have to call the Bible as being nothing more than a work of fiction.

That being said there are some nice moral teachings in that book (from a philosophical standpoint).
