The lawsuits are not over for Intel, and no, I'm not talking about the pending N.Y. State Attorney General's suit or even the potential FCC investigation. Now it seems that Intel shareholders are joining the fray and filing a suit against Intel over anti-trust.

This brief blurb names top level Intel Execs as defendants in the case where shareholders are stating that the Intel Exces did not perform their duties and failed to protect shareholder value by not launching an internal investigation regarding the slew of anti-trust suits; despite months of requests and prompting by the shareholders.

Hector Ruiz was ousted as AMD CEO for offenses less than this. Could this suit be the end of Otellini's tenure at Intel?

No matter how you slice it, this is not good for Intel, Intel Execs, or Otellini himself...

I feel sorry for the shareholders, NOT!!!
With projected earning of 10.2 billion back in January (almost a 90% drop from the previous year) and over 3 billion of that taken right off the top for current litigation, with possibly more to come. They should have bailed sooner. Why go down with the ship when your not the Captain?

^ I totally agree...why did the shareholders wait until now to file suit? But, it does make me wonder what message was being delivered to the stockholder's during their regular meetings to have given Intel Leadership this much leeway before filing suit. Also, another motivation (and purely speculation on my part) is that some money-hungry lawyer (*cough*ambulance chaser*cough*) may have convinced enough shareholders that they were losing value to collect on a fat settlement check.

The Board of Directors at nearly all corporations consist of CEO/COO+ level people, and senior executives from various institutional stock/stake~holders who may often run other businesses for their 'day' jobs. i.e. the CEO of one company can sit on the Board of Directors at a different company. It's also possible to be a senior executive who holds a Board seat for the same company. So there is another interpretation of this which (In My Humble opinion) has the potential to be closer to the true mark than blaming it on ambulance chasers:

Intel's Board of Directors are covering their a$$e$. (Dollar signs are intentional here...) and showing this:

stating that the Intel Exces did not perform their duties and failed to protect shareholder value by not launching an internal investigation regarding the slew of anti-trust suits; despite months of requests and prompting by the shareholders...

...in a court of law is a *highly* effective means of doing so.

IMHO, they're making damned sure that Intel's mess stays in Intel's yard. After all, the first rule is when there's a large steamer on the sidewalk is "...don't bring it home..."

You mean decades, 1948 was when Jewish terrorists killed the British presence and claimed the territory as their own. Then from there the Jewish terrorists claimed Gaza, West Bank, Palestine territories as their own. Oh well just Arabs not like they are real people right?
Word, Playa.

It may be interesting to see who the "sacrificial lambs" are and who bails later with their "Golden Parachutes" and glide gently to the ground!!

Maybe I'm getting the wrong end of the wrong stick here....

But I can't recall the great war mongering exploits of Abu Dhabi... nor the pre-emptive strikes... nor the numerous human rights abuses... nor the consistent breaking of the Geneva convention with regards conducting a war...

Hmm....

Something I'm missing?

Must resist temptation... hard to resist.. resistance falters...

The Bible? You mean a book written ~300 A.D.? About events which occurred around the year 0? The Bible is not at all historically or scientifically accurate.

Unless someone can prove to me that the earth is a 6,000 year old flat circle that is also the center of the Universe and that the Sun revolves around the Earth (and not the other way around) I will have to call the Bible as being nothing more than a work of fiction.

That being said there are some nice moral teachings in that book (from a philosophical standpoint).

And for a race to claim that they're CHOSEN by God is racist IMHO.

//end rant.

Nowhere in the Bible does it claim the Earth is 6000 years old, flat circle, centre of the universe, that the Sun revolves around the Earth etc etc.

I suppose you believe the Hanging Gardens and Pyramids were built 100 years ago, by totally free people with nothing better to do right?

Funny that. We couldnt build the pyramids today with all our tech.
People assuming we were stupid and uninformed back in the day are wrong, and people of the west need to understand this as well
Just like the guy they found in the Alps frozen, they (our current leading scientists) had no idea we were so advanced back then

So its true the Jews are their own race.

You picked the wrong person to have this debate with:

Conclusion

From their geographical and historical context, one would expect the ancient Hebrews to have a flat-earth cosmology. Indeed, from the very beginning, ultra-orthodox Christians have been flat-earthers, arguing that to believe otherwise is to deny the literal truth of the Bible. The flat-earth implications of the Bible were rediscovered and popularized by English-speaking Christians in the mid-19th century. Liberal scriptural scholars later derived the same view. Thus, students with remarkably disparate points of view independently concluded that the ancient Hebrews had a flat-earth cosmology, often deriving this view from scripture alone. Their conclusions were dramatically confirmed by the rediscovery of 1 Enoch.

Have fun reading the bible verses. Pull out your own bible and you can confirm they are truly there. The bible does say that the earth is flat and standing on pillars too 😛

Yep it's also written that the earth is the center of the universe with the sun revolving around the earth. It's in your bible.

And the Bible does claim the earth to be 6,000 years old. It's so painfully clear that the bible claims this (the time line of events in the bible from Genesis to the New Testament) that Born Again Evangelicals claim it to be true. In fact Born Again Evangelicals have created a theme park in Florida where you can view humans riding dinosaurs and children playing with a Triceratops (as the bible would claim).

Ahh yes little jimmy.. mount that Triceratops:

And a link to their website: http://creationmuseum.org/ Fun for the whole family 😛

According to the bible it's either that the earth is 6,000 years old and fossils were placed there to test our faith or that we lived with dinosaurs..😛 Your pick.

As for how the pyramids were built... current historians using scientific means hypothesize that the Pharaoh PAID people to build them (not slaves). But to be quite honest.. we don't truly know how they got there.

Notice how I didn't even mention: Talking Snakes, Whale swallowing Jacob full and spitting him out intact 3 months later, Noah's Ark fitting a male/female of every species on the planet etc etc etc.

"The term race or racial group usually refers to the categorization of humans into populations or groups on the basis of various sets of heritable characteristics."

Going on that, yes the Jews are their own race as the majority of Jews have inherent characteristics. The same would be true for lost tribes in the Amazon, eskimo's etc.

On the other hand, it is possible for anyone to 'become' a Jew so that must lead to a certain amount of dilution of the older Jewish genes.

The truth is, it's all complete bullshit. Americans are just decendants of europeans, who are simply decendents of a mix of asia minor, middle east and african. The Jews can claim to be gods chosen all they want - what they claim doesn't really matter does it? All that matters is it's either true or it isn't.

Be wise, and don't embarrass yourself by unquestionably believing something you first read on a website.

lol.. that is what I just did to you using the bible's own verses.

When I use that statement "telling you how it is" that is exactly what I am referring too (using the right from the horse's mouth approach).

Now we should get right back on topic :)
