I have a asus laptop with a intel i7 in it. every now and then I get a warning in event viewer for thie IntelME_Prov. Everytime I get this warning my latptop completely locks up until I hard reset it. I called Asus and they talked me through an update and such but after they there with clueless. I haev tried wiping my computer and it seemed to have worked but now about 2 weeks after the wipe its back. It doesnt matter what game it is either. Posted below are the two errors in event viewer.

A provider, IntelMEProv, has been registered in the Windows Management Instrumentation namespace root\Intel_ME to use the LocalSystem account. This account is privileged and the provider may cause a security violation if it does not correctly impersonate user requests.

check windows for errors with dism commands

reinstall all drivers from Asus.com, even if older versions available

check temperature of cpu and gpu while gaming

check hard drive for errors with manufacturer's tool of the hard drive
Just to clarify, the first thing I did when this started was watch my temps. my temps are perfectly fine.

DISM checks all clear
reinstalled drivers from the site
temps are good
HDD is all good tested with WD tools
