Intel's La Grande Security in Prescott

I don't like it, but somebody will find a way to hack it, they always do.
Besides, if this La Grande/Palladin technology really takes off, hey, I can live without the internet. Gonna be kinda hard for m$ to find out what I have if they can't access my computer

This was discussed twice heavily in this forum and is in fact VERY old news, like 6 months old.
I guess the newcomers here will feel more stimulated into inputting their opinions on it and arguments. I've said enough about it.

The news just stated it will.

Besides, this was announced a long time ago, Prescott is likely to have it. If not, oh well. It won't be used yet anyways if it did.

If you can buy hardware, you can buy software. Unless...we're talking Photoshop or such insanely expensive programs, that I just refrain from using.

My system: Intel Pentium 4 3.0, 800FSB / TwinMOS 1Gb DDR400 / MSI *argh* / Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro / Antec True Power 550W / 2x Western Digital Raptor / Hercules G.T XP /
SamsungDVD / Lite-On CDRW
