I just updated my MacBook Pro from 10.10.1 to OS X 10.10.2 (final release, not a beta...) After rebooting, I no longer have any options to change resolution on my external monitor aside from 4K or 1920x1080 (it's a 4K Asus monitor.) I used to be able to pick from maybe a dozen resolutions between those two before the update... 1080 looks like cartoons on this, full native 4K is way too small to read. All the interpolated options are gone. (Yes, I know to push the option key before selecting the "Scaled" button in the display control.) I used it use 2400x1600 or something like that and it was awesome. I can't roll back to 10.10.1 either.
Any thoughts on that one? Is this a common thing? I'm connected via Thunderbolt, not HDMI. Yes, I know it's only 30Hz and I'm completely fine with that.
