So currently I'm using a Diamond VC500 Capture Device to capture the game-play from my GameCube, PS2, PS1, etc. and was wondering if there are any other composite capture cards out there (hopefully an internal PCI-E capture card) that are better than the VC500. I know composite capture cards are hard to find (or at least they are for me) but I was hoping that someone would know of one. I know of the Diamond GC500 and GC1000 but those have component input which I've heard mixed things on in regards to whether or not you're able to plug composite cables into component input ports with no loss in video/audio quality.

EDIT: Would TV Tuner Cards work? I just need to be able to get the audio/video feed onto my computer and then I could use Action! for recording the game-play.

You could take a look at these:
AVerMedia HD DVR, Dark Crystal HD Capture Pro TV Tuners & Video Capture, C027
that comes with a break away cable that you can use as
