Internet connection drops every 10 minutes, comes back after reconnecting

Hello,

I am using a public internet service (cable) with a wireless router so that all my PC's can connect to the same network. My own PC is using a wired connection to the router.

Now I am having a problem with my connection dropping every 10-15 minutes. It comes back almost immediately after I go to my routers configuration site and reconnect from there (with no need to change any settings). I have a D-link GO-RT-N150 router.

I don't understand what causes the connection to drop, yet allows me to reconnect without changing any settings. I have a static IP if that helps.

this static ip was given you by the isp provider or you set it yourself also check if your firmware is up to date and that the router does not overheath and also check you network card if she need driver update .
