Hi guys, I'm trying to install a second routor to provide more Ethernet ports and a second wireless to reach further in my home.
I've typed the second routors MAC address into the first routor and provided it with a static IP, I then configured the second routor so that DHCP was of and made sure it knew what its IP was and also set it to bridge mode. I then connected the Ethernet cable from the first routor into the second, a computer that was connected via Ethernet to the second routor could access the internet and the configuration page for both the first and second routor, however my laptop is connect wirelessly to the first routor but couldn't properly connect, nor could my phone.
I unplugged the Ethernet cable connected both rotors together, and still couldn't connect to the first routor wirlessly, the password is correct and I even retyped it in but it connected to it fine before connecting the second routor. I did a soft reset and still couldn't connect so then I did a hard reset and it works fine again.
Could someone help me on this? Thanks
