Internet not working

Hello, so today when i got back from work i turned on my PC and the internet wasnt working.
When i chceck whats wrong with it it says: "Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (www.microsoft.com) is not responding."
I tried everything i found on the internet but nothing seems to work. I would really appreciate if someone could help me.

tried the simple things?

look at router to make sure broadband/internet light is lit --and that its the right colour--ie mine is green for ok red if a problem

restarted the router?

tested internet with a different device?

I tried all of that. Restarted the router multiple times, checked all the lights and also tried internet on other devices(it doesnt work on my phone also, it connects me to the wifi without any problems but internet just doesnt work).

if it doesnt work on your phone either then its either

your router is faulty

or theres a problem with your phone line or at your isp

most isps you can check if theres any issues in your area currently

I dont know what happend honestly it was all working great till today. I called the technician he should be here by tomorrow lets hope he can fix it. Thanks alot for your help btw

wish i had a £ for every time some one said to me "but it worked before"--yes most things that break worked fine before lol
