internet problems, intermiitently slow to load but speed ok

I appear to have a good connection, laptops and phones all work weel without problems. pc initially connects, works well for a few pages then stops, the page times out. i have had a malware problme but that seems to be fixed now. i hvae run ccleaner, tried connecting via ethernet instead of wifi usb wireless. it seems ok for a few pages then the same happens. on firefox, at the bottom left hand side of the screen the pc soetimes seems to be trying to connect to a different names page to what I want, e.g. mark.revoo.com. as i waited for this page to laod it shows in the bottom left hand corner connecting to px.c1exchange.com and it looks like the page i
still loading as i type. the page appears to load but it is now taking ages to move on showing connecting to tomshardware....

sounds like the malware problem has not been fixed entirely, or malware got removed which resulted in a broken system.
format hard drive and reinstall windows, its the only way to be sure.
