Question invalid partition table! on a dell E5430 after adding RAM

My E5430 display died so bought another E5430 with 4 GB RAM. Installed the 2 sticks from my old 5430 and got a 'invalid partition table!' error.
Is the RAM incompatible? RAM from my old (display broken) machine is 4gb 1rx8 pc3l 12800s 11-12-B4
The replacement machine came with 4gb 2rx8 pc3l 12800s 11-12-F3
thought the same model would have compatible RAM
Any fix? thank you

If the laptop fires up with the stick of ram it came with, then the ram you have is not compatible with your laptop. Might want to see if the laptop is pending a BIOS update.
