On a build I just finished, I have 2 InWin addressable RGB fans:

https://www.in-win.com/en/manual/fans/crown/crown-ac120-2-pack (User Manual)
And an MSI Z270 Gaming Pro Carbon Mobo:
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z270-GAMING-PRO-CARBON.html
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z270-GAMING-PRO-CARBON#down-manual (User Manual)
According to both MSI and InWin, the InWin ARGB is compatible with MSI's Mystic Light ARGB. However, the connector on the fans is a 6-pin 2x4 connector with labels for GND, Key, D, and 5V+, while the MSI Mobo JLED1 connector is a 4-pin 1x4 connector with labels 12V+, R, G, B. This is the only light connector I can see on the board, and the only one listed in the manual. Am I missing something here, or is the information just wrong?
