ip cam flashing all colors always have to reset ip cam

about 5 times a day we have to reset our IP cam from the cams software. When IP cam is flashing, meaning the bottom half will have all kinds of crazy colors and flash move around the bottom half. after we reset the cam from the IP cam software it corrects the problem. How can we fix this so we do not have to reset all the time?

How long has that been happening?

Any changes on the host computer? New software, other drivers - even hardware.

Probably not a hardware problem but being intermittent it could be a loose connection somewhere.

Does the problem occur when other devices connect to the network?

Does the camera have a static IP?

Is the cam wired or wireless?

Have you tried reinstalling the software or see if there are any new versions or updates? Could be some glitch over time.

Some make and model information would be helpful. Check the manufacturer's website FAQs and forums. See if anyone is asking about the same or similar problems.

Speed Dome IP Camera "Dome-Inator" - x27 Optical Zoom, 12 Array LEDs, H.264 Video Compression, Motion Detection. No help from manufacture. Once sold, they won't comment or try to fix.
