It's an iPhone... nobody cares anymore. Maybe they'll make it fecal matter proof... so its users can stick their $900 proprietary/Stat Capitalist phone right where the Sun don't shine. 😛

No one cares?
Except its the number one selling electronics model line in human history.
Oh lets also add that the various iPhone models are the top selling phones in human history.

But yah, "no one" cares...

If the iPhone only has 1 GB of RAM, I would crash it, easily. I'm sticking with Android.

You clearly don't understand how the iPhones can outperform devices with more RAM...

It's about efficient utilization of memory.

Apple controls both hardware and software, this is why they can squeeze way more for less.

This is why a Mac OSX laptop can do more with the same spec Windows machine.
Windows needs to make their OS work with millions of permutations of hardware, where as Apple can focus on a handful and as a result their devices have better battery life and don't take as much resources to run.

Why do people love their iPhones so damn much? The screens are too small to do anything productive and you can't really customize the look and feel to it, can you? Not to mention, the battery life is atrocious compared to some of the Androids out there.

i just came here to say there aint no way in hell TSMC will be doing any of apple's high end silicon, maybe apple tv soc's or ipod nano's lol.. They are already a year behind on 20nm. Nvidia and AMD are scrambling to find another foundry, perhaps intel will open up their fabs like they did with ASIC's a few months ago.

Apple: Gather round and lets think about a new model. Result: Overclocked, overpriced carbon copy of 5s with the number 6 ENJOY CUSTOMERS BUY ANY RANDOM [removed] WE REALEASE BECAUSE WE ARE APPLE!

Watch the language. - G

I have a 64gb iPhone 4S, I have had it since day one. I only got it because a girl I was with broke my 3g. I see no reason to upgrade right now. I wish android, apple, windows, etc... Would bring something new to the game, until then my 4s still rocks!

Your 4S rocks with that tiny screen and 8MP camera..... in 2011. Time to wake up. My friend has one and he's upgrading to a Galaxy S5 this weekend, he's so sick of the baby iphone.

But, the real question is, has Apple finally fixed the power button issue or not?

PETITION: iPhone 5 RECALL - Power Button Defect

Has anybody else signed this petition?

I know a lot of people who've been having this power button defect problem with the i3, i4 and i5 is even worse. Apple really needs to fix this problem once and for all.

Ever since Steve Jobs died Apple is dying a slow death. Steve is the one who pushed for new ideas and be bold to try new things regardless of cost. Despite Steve's Lisa fiasco he did push for new heights. Just he wasn't aligned with business economics at the time.

If Steve were alive today he would fire the designers for the latest iPhone. That is just how he was.. That is because of his high expectations of any product.

By continually editing and reposting the same article, it is becoming rife with errors. e.g. "Talk of the iPhone 6 display Recent rumors suggest Apple is going to use a sapphire display in the iPhone 6. "

It would be a LOT better, if you just added an "Updates" section at the top or bottom, so that people don't need to reread the entire thing just to get a snippet of actual NEW rumours (which is all that this article is delivering anyway).

LOL, I totally agree with you. Businesses stay in business because they are making money. Some fool tried to tell me that AMD wasn't making money off of there GPUs, when I posted GPU income numbers he tried to tell me that because AMD was losing money as a WHOLE company they should charge more for there GPUs. These companies that are making billions of dollars are run by people and higher up employees that obviously know what they are doing, if they don't they go bankrupt or get fired.

Some people are just so fanboy or anti they don't see they don't see the truth. Apple does sell a lot of phones and electronics, so obviously people care...

Just because someone doesn't upgrade and waste more money for a little more performance every year, doesn't make them retarded. I know that is what corporate america says, but some people have more of a brain than that. My iPhone 4s still works for me, I use it to shoot pics down microscopes, to record lectures, to record my dissection of cadavers, surf internet, email, etc..., so why does it make me retarded that I am not going out and blowing all of my money while I am in medical school? As soon as a 128gb phone that does substantially better is released, then I will upgrade. I am just not into the whole American corporate spend spend spend thing, I guess I realize that there is more to life than that...

It seems Apple is finally making larger screens, but ironically many of the Apple fans I know won't like that - they like their little phones. Will be interesting to see how this plays out for them. I'm thinking the larger screens will be just the ticket, and people will realize how much easier it is to read/type on larger screens. Not that I'm giving up my RAZR Maxx, mind you, but it's nice to see Apple catching up with the rest of the market.

The new sensors are spiffy - not sure how useful they'll be, but more functionality might lead to new ideas.

I'll be skipping this generation and sticking with my 5S if the new phone only has 1GB of RAM. i'm tired of them purposely skimping on ram so my phone gets obsolete faster.
