iPod Touch 5th Generation Home Button Replacement

I followed the instructions in this guide to fix my friend's iPod Touch home button. I was able to take it apart okay, but I am having issues attaching the new home button. It keeps falling off. What is the correct way to attach it?

From my knowledge of fixing phones, there is an adhesive that is pre applied to the home button to keep it in place.

Most likely there is still some there, but if there is not take a dab of super glue and make sure its not on the contact points.

I've only fixed iphones not ipods let me know of it works.

Should I put the super glue on the green area or the red area?
