Is 100% cpu usage bad while gaming

Sorry if this is another repetitive thread but i am curious is 100% cpu usage across all four core a bad thing while gaming I've looked though a lot of other threads but i can find a definitive answer that actual solve this question.
This is more to do with my curiosity getting the better of me and i just want to know for further reference

Pc specs i5 4690k

gtx 960 2g

8gb ddr3 ram

just to clarify i don't hit this kind of usage on all of my games and for those i do it doesn't stay like that for long like i mention i just want to satisfy my curiosity

100% usage means your processor is being uses to its full potential.
There is nothing wrong with this, even for extended periods of time.

No it's not bad, but it does mean that the scheduler won't be able to assign threads to other programs without causing instability in your primary program. That's why people prefer i7's over i5's for games, so that they have that freedom.

if your CPU is properly cooled there's nothing to worry about
just keep an eye on the temps once when you push it to 100% for a certain amount of time
if it stays within temperature limits you'll be fine

The only time this is bad is when you see that usage and the game stutters and lags. Then that means you have a CPU bottleneck. Otherwise no the processor is doing what its supposed to do.

Of course it will affect the longevity if you use the CPU, but not in any noticeable way. You would have already upgraded by the time it's on it's way out.

The processor will be long obsolete before running it at 100% all the time will wear it out. It simply doesn't happen.
