Is 144hz monitor worth it for my spec?

Hi guys was hoping someone could give me some advice. I've just ordered a new pc (specs below). Which of these two monitors do you think would be best for me?

1. Acer 24" XF240H

2. LG 24BK550Y-B

The first is a 144hz tn screen and the second is a 60-75hz ips screen. Is it worth spending the extra bit for the 144hz? I've bought this pc for gaming and photo editing.

Processor (CPU) - Intel® Core™i3 Quad Core Processor i3-8100 (3.60GHz) 6MB Cache
Motherboard - ASUS® PRIME Z370-P: ATX, LGA1151, USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs
Memory (RAM) -8GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR4 2133MHz (2 x 4GB)
Graphics Card - 6GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1060

What kind of games do you play? The 1060 will be hard-pressed to make it worthwhile if you play a lot of AAA games. You'll also not be able to take advantage of the monitor's FreeSync since you have an Nvidia GPU.

Thanks for the fast reply. I mainly play World of Warcraft and RTS games such as company of heroes 2. I do occasionally play FPS though. I should probably mention that I'm not really fussed about playing games on max graphics. To me performance is much more important. I would rather turn down the graphics if it meant I got really smooth gameplay.

The IPS monitor has a refresh rate of 75hz. Am I right in thinking that I could essentially get 75 fps on it? is there much difference between 60hz and 75hz?
