The 4+4 pin connection is for powering the motherboard. The 6+2 pin connection if for powering a GPU.

DO NOT try connecting as you proposed. You will damage your system.

What is the make/model of your power supply?
I have a iball marathon 500W PSU - you can see in the link below

I should not do 8+4 = 2x6, right?

Thankyou for such quick reply

Correct, do NOT do "8+4 = 2x6".

Your PSU is of questionable quality and should be replaced. You could use an adapter cable to make the second PCIe power connector your GPU needs (along with the the current 6+2 connector you already have), but those are generally not recommended.

For example: https://www.newegg.com/p/36M-0009-0...m_re=molex_to_pcie-_-36M-0009-001U9-_-Product

You really should consider replacing your PSU. The one you have is not designed to handle the power requirements of higher end GPUs.
