Question Is a 400 watts psu enough to power my system?

so I want to build myself a new pc and have already bought the case and psu but now i am wondering if 400 watts are enough if I might upgrade my gpu.
the components for the new pc are:

• be quiet silent base 601
• be quiet pure power 11, 400W 80+ Gold
• i5 9600k
• MSI Z390-A pro
• 16gb G.Skill RipJaws V
• be quiet Dark rock 4
• 1tb Samsung 860 evo
• maybe also a m.2 ssd

I am currently running a MSI gtx 970 and still want to use it for a while. There for the be quiet pure power 11, 400 watt should be good enough. But if I want to upgrade my gpu sometime I dont know if it will be able to keep up.
Should I just get a psu with more watts?

Personally would 'power' budget for a 600W if having future upgrades in mind. A good quality one like from the Corsair RMx series (there are others). Even the GTX 970 requires 500W according to Nvidia spec.

400w isnt enough for a 970.

Go for a solid 550w at minimum so you dont limit your upgrade options too much.

it should be enough. good quality helps and it should deliver the promised 400 w some say 400 w but only can deliver 350r or 300 w.

I'd go for a good 600 watt PSU.
