I have a double heatsink with two fans for my CPU. The instructions seem to think I have two CPU connectors on my motherboard but of course I don't. I've read that it's ok to use a splitter but won't that cut each fans power in half? Can I just put the second fan into a sys fan spot? They're rbg too but they do have a second cord for that.

Solution
Yes you can use a splitter to put 2 fan on the CPU_FAN header. Both fan will go at the same RPM that is set in the BIOS or a software in the OS.

Each fan header on your motherboard can give around 1AMP. 2 fan is normally fine unless they are fan that takes more than 0.5AMP each. It's rare so you should be fine.

If you want to be sure just let me know what are the fan brand and model?

You can put the other fan on a FAN_SYS header too.
