Hello, guys! I hope you're all alright and safe.

I'm willing to upgrade some of my stuff. Currently, I have a Ryzen 5 2600, A b350 Gaming 3, GTX 1080, 2 SATA SSDs, and 2 HDDs plus 32 GBS ram (it was a gift, lol).

Everything is powered by a Cx650.

I'm about to get a new card. I'm willing to go for 3070ti, BUT I saw there is a great difference between 3070 and 3070ti PSU-wise. I also want to get a ryzen 5 5600x and MOST LIKELY a x570 mobo.
Using the most famous PSU calculators I see that a cx 650 is enough (using 100% TDP on my simulations). However, I know the x570 has a dedicated fan for the chipset that may demand more power. The Calculators do not seem to consider that. My question is:

Can a Cx650 handle the x570 mobo chipset + a Ryzen 5 5600x + a 3070 TI?

I also accept any advice/comments on this build.

Thanks in advance.

Hey! Thank you for your answer!

Do you think that by using a b550 mobo would it be able to keep my Cx650? Or I would need to use a 3070 and a b550 mobo as well in order to make the Cx650 capable of handling it?

Once more, thank you!

You are talking about powering a 3070ti, that's the important bit. And the original answer you got was the correct one. You need to get a new power supply if you want peace of mind.
