IS a DDR2 GPU compatible with my motherboard?

Hi guys, I recently had some trouble looking for a graphics card. I know what your thinking, "Why is this in the motherboard forums?"; well, this is why. I have a Dell Dimension 4600c Slim PC and I'm having some issues. I also recently ordered a 512mb DDR3 GPU to use in it (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161318) except when I plugged it in, I got nothing. No screen flicker or anything. The fan on it was working. Before I had this card, I had a 256mb DDR GPU which worked fine except my case would have to remain open. Now my main question is... Is the Dell K0057 Motherboard compatible with DDR2 graphics cards? [Here's one (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814139043)] I think the problem is that the motherboard did not recognize the DDR3, but I'm not sure... Also, the power supply is not the issue and as you can see it is low profile. Help would be greatly appreciated!

-Chris

I was reading reviews on the DDR3 and people were saying it wasn't working in their dell computers either.

After talking with dell support, They said DDR2 is compatible with it seeing as they have some for ridiculous prices that are for sale for my specific model. So Basically

Dell Dimension Video Card Info:
Compatible with DDR, DDR2
Not Compatible with DDR3

Note: May need bigger power supply that will not fit the case as 160W is the highest one they make for it
