I have a intel core i5 2500k and I want to know is the intel core i5 2500k good for gaming?


My pc has 16 gb of ddr3 ram, an rx 560, and a intel core i5 2500k.

It's "good" for the graphics card you have installed, but I wouldn't say "good" for gaming with the latest games. Just my opinion, however.

I'd say yes, I still run my 2500k but it needs to be oced. But your gpu isn't good and would likely be the problem in nearly every game.

I have it at 3.8ghz with a gtx 780 3gb and I run most titles at 60fps (w/ vsync) high 1080p. You need a better card though. Pair it with a gtx 1060.
