Question Is adding a single 16gb stick to an existing 8gb x2 still compatible?

Will my RAM work well together if I put a 2x 8Gb sticks along with a single 16Gb stick?
Orrrrr should I put 2x 8Gb sticks along with 2x 16Gb sticks? Maybe that would work best?

This one is existing in my board:
CORSAIR - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2PK x 8GB) 2.6 GHz DDR4 DRAM Desktop Memory Kit -
Model:CMK16GX4M2A2666C16

AAAAND this one is the one i'll be adding:
CORSAIR - Vengeance LPX 32GB (2PK X 16GB) 2.6 GHz DDR4 DRAM Desktop Memory Kit -
Model: CMK32GX4M2A2666C16

same brand, so i have to decide if buying 32gb will add up to my existing, or just settle down on a 16gb.

by the way, my mobo is Gigabyte Z270-HD3, and running on Win10.
Doing video editing in Premiere and After Effects, but not too heavy.

Keep in mind though, mixing ram is not always guaranteed to work. For best chances keep Cas frequency and voltage the same.

No memory manufacturer will guarantee such a setup to be compatible together. Your free to make any kind of combinations you want and do your own compatibility testing with no guarantees.

If it boots ok Test with Memtest86 and run overnight unless you get errors right away.
Create a bootable CD-ROM, Or a bootable USB

You have to extract it and burn it as an ISO " for the CD
