Hello,
I have AMD Radeon HD 5870 1024MB gpu and I want to buy a new used cheap GPU for under 50€. I found AMD Radeon HD 7870 XT 2GB and I just want to know if it is much better than mine and if is it good for stable 60 Fps gaming?

I also want to know when i am playing Fortnite, why do I have all the time 60fps and sudenly when i am jumping or driving fast i have fps drops to 1fps (is it because of 1GB GPU ram???).

Here is a link of those two gpus:

Thank you.

Short answer no,long answer maybe...

You obviously have the juice to run it(PSU),is this card single fan or dual fan?.If it is single just pass it,mine is like a vaccum cleaner lol(unless you dont mind noise). They overclock like a champ usually at 1200mhz with stock volts(factory boost 1.25v).2GB vram is too low for many games at 1080p,this card has the power for decent graphics especially OCed but it is vram bound.Havent played fortnite so i dont know the vram usage. Can your cpu handle the game properly?.This fps spikes most times mean cpu bottleneck.Whats you cpu?.

Personally i would save some more and get a cheap RX 570 4GB.
