Is an HD6990 supported on p8h67-m lx ?

Just put an HD6990 in my p8h67-m lx Mobo..

With games and 3dmarks.. It only makes use of GPU1(98%usage) GPU2 is always 0%
So maybe this motherboard doesnt support a crossfire with only one card..?
Its a dual GPU on one card.. HD6990..
Does anyone know if the support is the problem ? Or should it work..

It could be your motherboard, but make sure your drivers are correct. Try uninstalling and using different ones.

What Operating System are you using? I assume Windows 7?
Just checking because anything older might cause compatibility issues.

Thanks for the response.. I tried more drivers.. older ones and newest.. But nothing works good.. it just makes use of only 1 of the 2 Gpus..
And Yes, windows 7.. I gonna check if there maybe be an bios update.. I dunno what to do.. I know the card works.. it comes out of my old gaming rig...

More solutions are welcome !

I'm quite confused now haha.

I did some research and your Mobo doesn't support crossfire.

BUT

Your graphics card isn't using crossfire to run.
So it seems like the issue is quite complex.

If you could test your card in someone else's PC that would probably give a good indication.

Otherwise, I've kinda hit a wall. I'm not really sure what's causing this.

Thats just what me confuses haha
only p8h67m pro says it support crossfire..
an hd6990 is an crossfire card but.. will i need it, because its 2GPU's in one card/slot.. lol..
I know the card works just fine it comes out of my old gaming rig.. wit an FX8150.. but now i was updating an older system with an i5.. and the mobo p8h67 m lx..


So the card is fine..

AIDA64.. gives GPU1 and GPU 2 temps.. From GPU1 it gives all temps.. diode shader vrm mem.. 5 different or so.. GPU2.. only shader mem diode temps.. missing 2 temps.. thats kinds strange too.. lol..

Just did bios update to newest.. nothing is better.. still no GPU2 usage..

I was looking at some other threads about the same GPU.

Have you tried downloading GPU-Z?

It'll tell you if your second GPU is enabled or not. If not, maybe you got a faulty card?

You can see at the bottom of the image it says "ATI Crossfire - Enabled (2 GPUs) "

Hello there..

I tried loads of different Catalist drivers for my HD6990 in gta v some are better then others.. but with all my games it doesnt use my second GPU.. its a dual GPU card..!

Only in 3dMarkvantage it uses my second gpu..!

How can this be..? In my other pc it always worked flawless..

Maybe someone knows this problem..?
Only in 3Dmark it uses 2 Gpu's with a good score of 28.000 how can it be that in none of my games that are all crossfire supported only uses 1 GPU of a dual GPU card
