I don't in a short range fight, if you walk round a corner into an enemy the zoom is too great to use properly if they stay on the move, also the slight delay while scoping can be crucial. For me, the choices are crouch and shoot, stand and shoot or strafe and shoot. With the limited improvement of crounching then you can rule out that option, which was more useful for example in 2142. If they are really close then I'll strafe round them on full auto going for body shots, If they are a touch further away or space is tight then I'll stand and burst fire for headshots. Of course it depends slightly on the weapon etc. but just trying to say there are plenty of occasions when zoom isn't appropriate (In My Humble Opinion)
